Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kumano, a project management application. By using Kumano, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

The App

Kumano is a project management tool for developers. It lets you organize work into projects, features, and tasks with optional cloud sync and collaboration features.

Kumano is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. We'll do our best to communicate changes, but beta means beta.

Your Account

• An account is optional. You can use Kumano locally without one.
• If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app or by emailing support@kumano.app.

Your Data

• You own your data. We don't claim any rights to your projects, tasks, or content.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service (cloud sync, collaboration).
• You're responsible for backing up your local data. We are not liable for data loss from device failure, OS updates, or app uninstallation.

Cloud Sync & Collaboration

Cloud features are provided on a best-effort basis:

• We don't guarantee 100% uptime or sync reliability.
• Cloud storage is provided by Google Firebase and subject to their availability.
• If you share a project, collaborators can see and edit its content based on their role.
• You're responsible for who you invite to your projects.

Acceptable Use

Don't use Kumano to:

• Store or distribute illegal content
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Resell or redistribute the app

Intellectual Property

• Kumano, its design, code, and branding are the property of Akos Komuves.
• You receive a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for personal and professional purposes.
• This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Kumano is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't warrant that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Data will never be lost or corrupted
• Cloud sync will always be available or immediate
• The app will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kumano and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Cost of substitute services
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the app (if any)

Termination

• You can stop using Kumano at any time by deleting the app.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and the European Union, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary.
