# Kumano

> Kumano is a native macOS app that organises Claude Code by your projects. Each feature moves from a written intent to a spec, an approved plan, a build, an AI review of the diff and a pull request, with a person at every gate. The intent, spec, plan and review are committed to the repository as Markdown files under `.kumano/features/`. Made by Tall Poppy Studio (Hungary).

## Facts

- Platform: Mac only. macOS 15.6 or later (macOS 26 recommended). Universal app for Apple silicon and Intel. There is no iPhone or iPad app.
- Requires: Claude Code (Anthropic's CLI) installed and signed in. Kumano runs it as a subprocess, so the project's CLAUDE.md, hooks and skills apply.
- Price: free to download during the beta. Claude usage is billed by Anthropic under the user's own plan or API key.
- Data: local-first. Projects are stored on the Mac; artifacts live in the user's git repository.

- Prompt review (since 0.8): scores the prompts behind each Claude Code session for intent clarity and scope discipline (1-5 each), explains the score and suggests a rewrite; can post one comment and a `promptly/prompt-review` check on the pull request. Opt-in; the judge uses the user's own Anthropic API key, stored in the Keychain. Formerly the standalone product Promptly; the engine is the MIT-licensed `@getpromptly/cli`.
